Websites built for coaches
Coaching is the least local thing on this site, and it is worth saying so before you read further. Almost nobody searches for a coach near me — they find you through a referral, a podcast, a talk, or LinkedIn, and then they look you up. Which means your site is not a discovery tool. It is the page that decides whether the referral converts.

How customers actually search for a coaching practice
Mostly they do not — they arrive with your name already. What search does exist is niche and national rather than local, organised around the specific problem rather than the word coach. Treat search as a supplement and the referral path as the main event.
- executive coach for new managers
- leadership coaching program
- career transition coach
- business coach for consultants
- coaching discovery call
- life coach Albuquerque
- accountability coach for founders
Every one of those is a map result before it is a website visit. That is why the Google listing and the site get built together here, not one after the other.
What we build into a coaching practice site
That changes what it has to do. It has about thirty seconds to establish who specifically you help, what changes, and how someone starts. Coaching sites fail overwhelmingly at the first of those — they describe a philosophy when the reader is trying to work out whether this person has helped anyone like them.
- A positioning line above the fold that names who you help and what changes. Not a philosophy — a specific person with a specific problem.
- One next step, repeated. A discovery call booking that takes under a minute and does not require an intake essay first.
- Proof presented plainly: testimonials attributed to real people, and specific outcomes only where they genuinely happened.
- A page on how you actually work — cadence, length, what a session is like. This is what a serious prospect reads before booking.
- Pricing or at least a range. Coaching sites that hide it lose the people who could afford it and attract the ones who cannot.
- A bio that establishes why you specifically, rather than a list of certifications nobody outside coaching recognises.
9 design directions for coaches
Pick a direction and we tailor it to your name, your photos and your neighborhood. Tap any one to see it full size.

Navy, gold, split hero, company logo strip. “Lead like the leader they already need.” Sophisticated authority.

Coral, sage, laughing portrait, handwritten signature. “Let's build the life that feels like YOU.” Warm and human.

Vibrant green, citrus, glowing portrait, program cards. “Feel strong in the body you live in.” Fresh and motivating.

Black, gold, big income numbers as design. “Build the business your future self brags about.” Aspirational and high-status.

Lavender, dusty rose, celestial gradients. “Come home to yourself.” Ethereal and calming.

Charcoal, electric lime, mid-training action. “Stop starting over. Build a body that lasts.” Intense and motivating.

Dusty rose, plum, editorial portrait. “Love that finally feels easy.” Warm, relatable, and stylish.

White, teal, clear 3-step process, trust chips. “Land the career you actually want.” Modern and credible.

Coral, cobalt, mustard, painterly collage. “Make the work only you can make.” Expressive artist-to-artist.

What growing looks like from here
Growth in coaching is almost always narrowing rather than broadening. The coach who helps newly promoted engineering managers is easier to refer and easier to find than the coach who helps people. If you want content, it should go deep on one audience rather than wide across several — a handful of pages that speak precisely to one person will outperform thirty that speak generally to everyone.
The New Mexico calendar
January is the resolution wave and the biggest single month for individual coaching enquiries. September is the quieter but higher-quality reset — people back from summer deciding to change something. Corporate and executive engagements follow budget cycles, so Q4 conversations become Q1 starts.

Questions coaches ask
I get all my clients from referrals. Is a site worth it?
That is precisely when it is worth it. Every referral ends with someone looking you up, and what they find decides whether the introduction converts. The site is not there to find clients — it is there to stop you losing the ones you already earned.
Should I niche down on the site even if I coach broadly?
Usually yes. Being specific about who you help makes you easier to refer, easier to remember and easier to find. You can still take work outside it; the site just needs to be legible to one person rather than vague to everyone.
Can I use Squarespace or Kajabi instead?
You can, and for some coaches that is genuinely the right answer — particularly if you sell courses through the same platform. What you get here instead is that none of it is your job, plus the Google listing side, which those platforms do not touch at all.
Do you write the testimonials?
No. We will help you ask for them and format them well, but the words are your clients'. We do not write, invent or embellish proof, and we do not put numbers on a page that did not happen.
Should I put my prices on the site?
A range, usually. Hiding it entirely tends to lose the people who could comfortably afford you while filling your calendar with calls from people who never could.
